One Hour Window

Due to circumstances that can be out of our control (extreme weather, traffic, dogs having too much fun, etc) we reserve a one hour window around the time of your scheduled walk. If for example your walk is scheduled to start at 9am, you should expect that your walker will arrive anytime between 8am and 9am.

Scheduling

Establishing a regular schedule for your dog is recommended. This helps us allocate our walkers and ensures that you receive your desired walking window. For this reason we require a minimum 24 hr advance notice to guarantee accommodations. For weekend and holiday walks all reservations and changes must be made by Thursday night at 5pm. If your schedule changes weekly please make your reservations 72 hrs in advance.

Our top priority will always be the needs of the animals we work with. In a last minute situation or a special request we will always do our best to accommodate. However we can not guarantee availability in short notice situations.

Cancelation

All cancellations must be confirmed at least 48 hrs in advance. Failure to cancel within the 48 hrs may result in a cancellation fee of half the cost or the scheduled walk. If you should cancel within 2 hrs of the scheduled walk, or in the event that our dog walkers should arrive and our dog is not home, unavailable to be walked, or is inaccessible to them, you will be charged the full cost of the scheduled walk.

In the best interest of the dogs and the walkers, dog walks will be canceled if there are extreme weather advisories, or strong storms. Extreme heat (above 45ᣞ) or extreme cold (below -35ᣞ) may also result in cancellations.

Emergency Care

In the event that something should happen to your dog that requires medical attention we will do everything possible to ensure that your dog receives appropriate care in a timely manner. IF your dog walker is K9 First Aid certified we reserve the right to administer First Aid to the best of our abilities, and at our own discretion.

If we are unable to reach you in the event of an emergency we reserve the right to bring your dog to the nearest veterinarian at the cost of $20/hr. Any cost incurred will be included in your next invoice.
